Store backup and restore for Shopify
Aislekit Backup keeps a copy of your products, collections, pages, blog posts, menus and metafields, with their images, and puts any single item back exactly as it was. After every restore you get a receipt that checks each field against the backup, so you can see for yourself that it worked.
What it does
- Product and collection changes are saved within a few minutes, and pages, blog posts and menus within the hour. Every night the app also reads your whole store and checks it against the backup.
- Pick an item, pick a moment, see exactly what will change, then restore it. A deleted item comes back too, with its images, its stock counts and its place in your collections.
- Undo any restore, or undo everything that changed between two times after a bad import or bulk edit.
- Export your store as it was on any day of the past year: data files, a product CSV in Shopify's own import format, and your images.
- A weekly summary in the app of what changed and what was kept.
A receipt for every restore
After a restore, the app reads the item back from Shopify, not from its own copy, and checks every field against the backup. Each one is marked as a match, a Shopify limit (something Shopify doesn't let any app set, named), something you chose to keep, or different. A receipt reads like "212 fields checked: 194 match, 18 are a Shopify limit". Everything Shopify won't let an app put back is listed on what restores, and what doesn't.
The price promise
I'll never raise the price of the plan you're on or add usage or overage fees to it, and if your store outgrows the plan, your bill only changes when you choose a bigger plan yourself.
Never raised, and never upgraded without your approval.

Every feature is on every plan. Over 25,000 products? Write to me.
Images are included on every plan, up to 10 MB a product on average, counting the older versions your history keeps. That's about four times what a typical store uses, and the app shows your own figure from the first day. If your photos run heavier, each plan covers 10 MB of images for every product in its size (Starter 10 GB, Growth 50 GB, Pro 250 GB), and the app tells you which plan fits before you choose. Your plan never changes unless you change it.
During your 7-day trial the app backs up all your product details at once, and images up to 2 GB, recently updated products first. The rest of the images your plan covers follow on your first paid day.
Plans are billed through Shopify. You can change or cancel your plan any time on Shopify's plan page, and uninstalling stops billing too.
What it never touches
It never reads your blog comments, it keeps gift cards and store credit for your records without ever writing them back, and it never restores a customer's marketing consent. Your backups are encrypted at rest on a server I run, and they're deleted after you uninstall. The privacy policy has the details, and the terms hold the price promise.
